Im 23 and Im dating a 31 year old. What do you think is in his mind?

I feel a little weird sometimes being with him, like im immature, and sometimes he intimidates me because of the age difference and so I feel like he judges me (but he probably isnt)

What do you think is in his mind? Is he proud to date a younger woman? I know guys usually are happy with dating someone who is younger than them and so Im wondering:)

Im still in school, he already has a job and is independent? Could it work out?

We get along very well and I feel like he likes me a lot, but sometimes I am little worried because he's in a different more mature stage in his life.

My parents have been married for 51 years and their age difference is 9 years. Don't worry about it. In fact, that age gap seems normal to me. Men like younger women and women tend to like older men. It creates a better balance as he tends to have his shit together and can be more serious and she brings the fun, laughter, compassion and smiles to the relationship.

Focus on the relationship and don't listen to (including myself) anyone on the internet who will only get your mind off what matters and that is you and him.

Im 17 and I dated a 24 year old so I get what you're going through but the girl I was with was completely fine with it, she said I act like im in my 20s most times. Just talk to him about it, ask how he feels about the relationship your in. It shouldn't be any different than the others just because you're younger, age is just a number... unless you're like under 20 then that's weird.

Your 23. This guy is 31. You still say your immature and his at a mature age. He would want someone at the same stage as him in maturity to be with. At that age men want to settle down and still have fun but not worry about you off being immature. I think you should think about it. Do you know if he does like you? Ask him.

It's only 8 years difference, and that sounds normal enough. I'd expect him to be dating women not much younger than 22.

I think you are worrying too much. I highly doubt he cares what age you are and you shouldn't care what age he is if you are both into each other. That's really all that matters.
