I have had major issues letting go of this subject. We have been together for two years and it shouldn't bother me but it does. His ex seriously is gorgeous, I don't see anything wrong with her at all. But I see everything wrong with myself. All my boyfriends friends talk about how I'm gorgeous and WAY better than her in every way. And my boyfriend told me "Yeah she is pretty, I don't date ugly people. But prettier than you? No. You have things that she will never get close to coming to. You're gorgeous in every way, physically and your personality." But she is super skinny and has blonde hair and is gorgeous, and I'm skinny but I have this hourglass figure, so my curves make me feel insecure. I guess all I am wondering is how to accept his answer and believe him. I hate feeling like his ex is better than me. It's a stupid insecurity.

somene is always going to be prettier than you to someone. thats life. if she was prettier what would you dio- crawl into a hole. there's no point trying to figure oytif she's prettier bc either way its just going to make you feel worse. if you decide you're prettier you'll nevr be sure. if yioy deice she's prettier you'll feel bad.

come to peace with who you are and enjoy being with the guy you're with. his ex has nothing to do with your insecurity. somethings bothering you sand you're tasking it to on here.

if you felt comfortable you wouldn't be thinking of her. figure out what you're really worried as bout or drop it. she exists and you can't control everyones opinion. he's with you you're with him no one else matters. and if you guys break up its not bc of her he already broke up with her. dont worry about people that have nothing to do with you.

unless you think he's going to go back to her in which case you should re evaluate your relationship- she has as little to do with you as anyone elses ex.

Everyone has a different body type. I used to be insecure about my body type, but then a guy once told me that he prefers curves to super skinny people, because then girls look more like women and it adds sex appeal. I've been proud of my womanly figure ever since. Plus, who cares what your ex thinks? Or anyone for that matter... live for yourself, and if someone comes along, they will think you are the bomb dot com whatever you look like :P

Listen if he Chose YOU over HER then why would you care at all? If he wanted her he would have stayed where he was plain and simple! Being insecure about her is only going to hurt your relationship and push him away. Confidence is EVERYTHING in a relationship!

Most guys would take an hour glass figure over a stick figure. It's not a competition, though. Why does she even enter your mind? She's old news. He's with you, not her. Worry about what you have, not what your boyfriend didn't want anymore.

Don't look at it like that. Honestly this is how it goes. . . . He had her who you think is perfect and he chose you. So he obviously sees you as the better woman and more attractive to him. So you should see that as a huge compliment/ego boost for real. She should be feeling insecure like that about you. So hold your head up high smile and know you are amazing! Be confidant. I bet she wishes she had your curves. Be proud of who you are and remember he moved on to something way better YOU :)

Curves make you insecure? Girl own them :) nothing is more beautiful than a women with a figure v. A cinnamon stick. By the sounds of it you sound really pretty. A little confidence wouldn't hurt and once that's done you'll be fine. :)

I can't believe you don't like your hour glass figure, every woman should have an hour glass figure including me if we are in a perfect world. Sigh!
