Do my crush and her friends talk about me in private?

Well one of my friends who knows my crush and her group of friends (he's dating one my crush's friends) told me something I find weird. But how my crush reacted is also weird.
-He told me that my crush and her friends "always talk about me"
-When I asked my crush directly if this was true, she said "I dunno" and kept asking if that's what he said over and over again
*keep in mind that I've already told this girl I liked her. She turned me down saying "I can't say I'll ever feel the same way about you.." But I told her my feelings haven't and won't change.

But I'm confused, do they talk about me? Why? Why'd she say "I dunno"? She's never had a problem being blunt before, so why doesn't she just tell me?

First of all, if a girls talking about you she likes you, or at least thinks about you often. And be aware than girls talk about everything, and I mean EVERYTHING!
