Guys, do you care if a girl farts when she's around you?

Question

I've been dating this guy for about a month now but we've been good friends for over a year. Neither of us have farted in front of each other before but when someone else does, we just make a joke about it. Would he think I was gross if I ever let one out while with him? I'm afraid to fart in front of him so on occasion, if I have to, I just hold it in.

 Guys what do you think? Is it okay for girls to fart in front of guys? And for the girls, has you ever farted in front of your boyfriend or male friend? What was their response?

Everyone farts, I don't care a bit, in fact I like the fact that she feels secure and confident enough around me to not worry about that sort of thing. If you just laugh about it and not make it a big deal it shouldn't have to be anything to worry about.

Although you should still apologise if it's a real stinker, that's just good manners!

Wear thongs and do them silently. :P If I were you, I would've done it by now. He farts, you fart, everyone farts. If you joke about it then he should take it well. Turn it into a competition when you're bored. It's not healthy to hold it in.

I think it depends on how far into the relationship you are and how comfortable you two are around each other. My boyfriend and I have been together for nearly 3 years, so we have fart battles now.

I think women should be more encouraged to fart in front of men. And especially if they are in a relationship or even if they are close friends too.

In my case, depending on how close I was to her, I even took comfort in her farting around me. Back when I was young, there was this female friend that gave me a ride. She was close to a girl I wanted to date and myself. When she gave a ride, this was after I asked the one girl she was close to on a date. The results were that she told me she only liked me as a friend.

Hearing it enough times from other girls then, it became something really personal. So on that ride home, I ask her if she thinks something is wrong with me and she said "no, why do you say that?" I explained to her that each time I've asked someone on a date, I've been turned down or rejected for someone else. And note this car ride I was feeling emotionally raw. This is where she begins to have a heart to heart with me about what she sees between us. And in the process of it she farts, I pretend that she didn't do it not to make her feel awkward. But as we continue to talk and she continues to fart. When she reaches my place, her farting and us talking and her telling me that I'm more than what everyone at school then perceived me as was a real magical thing to be in.

When we talk not only was I able to embrace the fact that she told me that I'm not less of a human, I was able to embrace her more because when she farted and the associated smell of it. When she farted, it told me that she's not just there for me to look good to others, it told me that she was willing to be humanely there for me. We continued to talk as I break down into tears. We just kept going for another few minutes. And then she told me she needed to get going to do her evening routines. So then still in tears, I reach out to hug her I don't let go for 3 minutes and I whisper in her ear thanks for everything. Then she farts again and I squeeze her even tighter. I whisper in her ear again that I hope to find someone who will accept me for who I am. And she whispers back I think that will happen, just don't try so hard it will come. The whole time I hugged her she farted even more.

Feeling the comfort of her kind words and the fact that she farted w/ the smell minutes later, I felt a lot better leaving her car to head inside after we talked and hugged. It was unforgettable and I felt a lot better that evening.

So to follow up with the short answer, yes it is okay for a lady to fart in front of a man. And depending on the relationship of who it is and both people, it can have some positive effects for a lady to fart in front of a man.

I have on multiple occasions farted in front of literally every male friend I have, including my boyfriend. The girls in my friend group have farting contests, so that’s how the male friends hear us fart. And I fart on my boyfriend, cup my farts and throw them in his face, Dutch oven him, get him to pull my finger and fart, and have him spot me in the gym (I always fart when I’m lifting or being active). I can tell you from more experience than anyone needs that there is nothing in the world that a guy finds funnier and cuter than a girl’s fart. It doesn’t matter about size, either. Mine are longer, louder, and smellier than you could imagine. They’re more frequent too. It doesn’t matter, though. When I rip one, my boyfriend says he feels safer around me because my body’s unique sounds and scents put him at ease, and my comfort level makes him feel wanted. Just fart. It will be good for your relationship.

No we don't care. If anything we think it is nice... a good sign of high level of comfort.

I noticed girlfriend farting a lot very early on, long before we were in a relationship. And it was not just like I heard a fart from the bathroom... it was literally when we cuddled in the sofa. I didn't say anything and she didn't either, which I thought was quite nice... quite badass to just fart when cuddling and nobody cares. It just told me she was that comfortable around me that early on... cause we all know that the farting will be present in a relationship later.

If a girl farts she goes on the short list. I had this friend he farted all the time and met a fantastic girl of his dreams. She took him home to meet her family. After that meeting she never spoke to him again. He could not understand. I asked if he ripped off one of his "natural process" at diner, he went quiet. Who wants to taste your crap.
