Should I stay with my girlfriend if she doesn't find me attractive (physically)?

She told me that although she doesn't find me physically attractive, she loves other things about me. It hurt, because I want to feel desired (you know, like she wants me physically), and ever since she told me.. I really don't. I don't think I look that bad, I've got a six pack and a nice chest and I exercise pretty much everyday, but girls have never really showed interest in me. Maybe it's the height (or lackthereof). So even if I did end it there's no guarantee that I would find someone who actually finds me physically attractive.

We've only been together for 3 months, but I really like her. I think she is so beautiful, we have very similar interests and although she says not attracted to me physically we have great sex. I just don't want to get to a point where she cheats on me because she sees a guy she is attracted to.

Attraction needs to exist on all levels: emotionally, mentally and physically. Otherwise, the relationship is pretty much doomed to fail in my opinion. If there's only physical attraction, then it's impossible to move on from a friends with benefits type of situation. If there's only mental/emotional attraction, chances are you will end up being viewed as just a friend. The thing that separates FWBs/normal friends from actual boyfriends/girlfriends is the different levels of attraction. I could never be in a relationship with a guy if I didn't feel attracted to him in all the three different ways. I just don't feel like a situation like that would end well. And if a guy I was dating/seeing told me he didn't think I am physically attractive, I'd take it as a huge hit to my ego. I'd just feel like there's no point in dating then, you know? Physical attraction isn't everything, but it's important. It's a huge reason why mere friendships are different from relationships.

I guess most people will tell you to end it, and here's why: when you're in love, you find that person attractive. You may know that this person isn't very good looking, you're aware that probably some people even find that person ugly. But the thing is, you can't help but feel attracted.

So, unless she meant: "you're not attractive but I feel attracted to you anyways", I'm sorry to say that either she doesn't love you or there's something weird going on.

In my mind, liking a guy but not feeling attracted to him is called "friendship".

I was in the exact same scenario... I dated a girl for 7 months and she was like never really attracted to me
. I wasn't her type but she liked my personality... She tried but she just wasn't feeling it... end it now before you get hurt later on... like I did.

I'd honestly just tell her how you feel. Sometimes it takes time to be physically attracted to someone. Girls are finicky, man. It took me a few months to find my boyfriend physically attractive.
