Why is my ex still sending me selfies?

So yesterday, he sent me 2 within an hour. It screams "I still love you and I want you back". He wants something, or me. Why is he still doing this?

I don't like how age effects the answer that was given... I am also 13 and i have been called insightful and such things on here. A younger person could be as wise if not more than an older person. It just depends on the person. There could be an ignorant 20 year old and a wise 14 year old... Are we going to listen to the 20 year olds nonsense just because they are older? I wouldn't think so. Not listening to someone just because their age is not very nice or smart. Even if it doesn't make any sense... Why would it matter the age? I am very young and from what I've seen i have a lot more common sense than most people on this site.

If its almost a six year difference between you guys, then its almost ten between me and the asker. Maybe not so much about playing with your feelings, but she is right about telling him to stop if you don't want them. If you allow him to persist he will think you are interested, and there is a good chance it will place pressure upon your next relationship if he is still going when that happens. I say this from personal experience, and you should analyse what people say, not how old the asker is. People ten years older than me were talking about how terrible my generation is, and people my age talk about how terrible and disrespectful people your age are, exactly as you are doing to them, and it is just generalising because of sensationalised bs. You would be wise to see that the bad eggs are as ripe in each generation as they were in the one before.
