How to tell if a guy is taken?

How can you tell if a guy is taken without asking them? Do taken guys act different around single girls? ie. more reserved - friendly but reserved (not so flirty)?

or do taken guys still continue to flirt/play around like they are not taken?

I guess it depens on the boy or how much they like their girlfriend.

I noticed myself that my flirty guyfriends after they got a girlfriend they weren't as flirty anymore.

I also have a friend that is interested in a girl and ever since he met her he is more distant with other girls ^^

But I do know guys that just continue to flirt as long as their girlfriend isn't around...

Well not always sometimes they don't mean anything by it, but I think it's kinda disrespectful towards their girlfriend (unless she is okay with it/knows he doesn't mean anything by it).

I act exactly the way I did when I was single, however I do make it clear to the company I am in that I have a woman in my life... That is the sign for females that even if I let her flirt, she will not get anything else from me.

What if this taken guy says that he is interested in another girl? would this mean that this guy is making an impression that he is single where in fact he is already taken??

I consider myself taken and just enjoy the company of other girls but I no longer flirt. That's reserved only for my tomboy.

Try not to generalize for that's just my reaction. I've spent an inordinate amount of time developing a foundation for a long term relationship with my tomboy and don't want to do anything to jeopardize what I have with her.
