Guys, would you have a problem with your girlfriend being biromantic?

Biromantic: being romantically (not sexually) attracted to both sexes.

I recently learned the term and it fits me. It totally explains why I always get abnormally close and attached to my best female friends. But I don't think I'll tell my boyfriend this because he might put together that, yes, I have strong feelings toward my best friend. Not like anything's gonna happen though, since we're both heterosexual.

Honestly it would bother me a little; maybe enough for me to end it. She is with me, if she is romantic with someone else like their in a relationship then she obviously doesn't want to be with me. And the whole wanting to be with multiple people is a no-go for me. Either I'm your one and only love interest, or I'm not with you. There is no room for other people and no room for other romancing.
If you treated someone like you were in a relationship with them, were committed in the same way, and felt like a genuine couple, then why are you with me. You said that dating your boyfriend made your relationship awkward with a friend because you were in a "romantic" type relationship. I'm not willing to deal with that. So what if there is nothing sexual going on, you are still putting someone up onto a romantic level other than your partner. Do what you want, but to me that's wrong.

Not at all. As long as she's loyal to me, I can care less what she's attracted to. Unless its something weird as hell like kids and animals, in which case it was nice knowing her.

What you said makes no sense. You are either bisexual or not. You can't be romantic with both sexes and heterosexual. Most men are turned on by woman on woman sex/kissing/almost anything. It doesn't threaten us and we are ok with it. We all have fantasies about joining in too.

Asexual people can still be heteroromantic, for example (where they aren't sexually attracted to either sex, but they get romantic feelings for the opposite sex).

Nah, not buying it. Asexuality, is very very rare. Anyone on here saying they are asexual is likely lying or just depressed. As for romance versus sexual attraction, not buying that either. Romance and sex go hand in hand, they are flip sides of the same coin.

It's rare but she is right, she (i am assuming) is only sexually attracted to men, but romantically attracted to both (which has nothing to do with orientation. This combo is almost non existent in men as romantic attraction stems from sexual attraction for men.

We were basically in a relationship, without any of the physical stuff. All of the intimacy and mentality of a relationship. It's hard to explain.

It was bad enough to where when I started dating my boyfriend, things got very awkward between us for a while.
