What does it mean when your ex randomly snapchats you out of nowhere when y'all haven't talked in months?

1) he can find sex but can't find a real relationship and it depresses him
2) he can't find sex or a relationship and he's desperate

its either one if those 2 most of the time

and the third is he's bored but that usually isn't the case honestly its usually the first one

Okay here's how it ended: we had a fight but we both said sorry and we hung out and both seemed like we were over it, but then for 2 weeks he was really distant (really douchey) then finally I made him address it all with me and he was like "if you want to break up with me then I still want to be your friend" so it was mutual but he was obviously trying to force me to be the one to say it's over. And since then he's told me he still had feelings for me then got a new girlfriend like 3 weeks later

Could be anything... Maybe they stopped talking to you because they thought it would make it easier to get over them but then realised there never going to get over you. Literally could be any reason whatsoever...

I've always wondered about this too! They make it seem like it's random, but I know I wouldn't send them a snapchat randomly or "by mistake". I think it's mostly cause they miss you or want to see you, but I'm not sure. I reply sometimes but they play it off really cool so I don't understand why either 😐
