American men: Do you prefer foreign women or American women?

For me, I prefer foreign women because they are nicer and won't mind to date me. They don't care what color I am. I DON'T have good relationships with certain american women. Most of them care about how much I pay and the race factor annoys me.

i can understand not wanting to be with racist people but in 'america' there are all kinds of people from all locations so..

i also find it comical that men will often say they like foreign women--as if foreign women means one thing. way to respect people lol.

so western men being inconveniently blocked by equal rights laws, will search for foreign women bc (they think) foreign women will kiss their ass for not being abusive. or cheating--as if no men in the west are abusive or cheat. 200,000 women end in hospitals bc of bfs and husbands they will say western women are entitled bc they won't kiss a guys ass for not beating them...

western men dont kiss womens ass for not beating them, yet they search for the behavior elsewhere.. entitlement.

they talk about receiving treatment that they themselves would not give western women. so its a joke. they are in search of treatment they are not willing to give. and in certain places people dont have to stand for hypocrisy. they go to places where there is less choice-- usually due to western imperialism in the first place-- which is really sleazy.

not being sexist does not mean treating someone well, it just means not intruding upon their -equal- right to be. . not being sexist is the basic common denominator. bc women are treated subhuman, does not mean you're special if you dont see them as slaves, which if you didn't think women should be slaves , you would not think its exceptional to not see a woman as sl;ave.

for example,. no. you dont dont get to act like you're heroic for not raping a woman. just like she doesn't get points for not raping you. your attitude is why you're having problems with women.

when is the last time you were especially kind or gentle or respectful or went down on a woman or did the dishes or washed the clothing , not bc she served you but bc bc she did not treat you like an inferior sex? im doubting ever. you're expecting treatment from women you dont give.

I think that white women unfairly get so much hate from non-white/non-American men because we like to sleep mostly with our own kind. I wish people would stop obsessing and start liking their own kind. Not a racist just curious why most of the time they only date their own kind AFTER they've been rejected by white women. I have some lovely non-white/non-American girlfriends who don't deserve to be second choice.

I'm American, married to a non American and if I date again I'd try to date American guys. I want someone who understands and appreciates my culture. It wouldn't matter what race.
Dating someone from another culture is educational but can be very difficult.

Well, America is 76% white. It shouldn't be surprising that the standard of beauty is white and that most white people prefer most white people. (though, even then, the standard of beauty in America really isn't completely white: Denzel Washington. President Obama. Rhianna. Beyonce. Case proven.) That said, I've known plenty of white chicks who've dated black guys. And not just the ones who just date black to say they've dated black. Real love, really close. Of course, I grew up in an area that was like 30% white.

But. According to a couple dating websites and apps like okcupid, most races prefer to date within their own race. That shouldn't be surprising, either. It's not like it's racism or anything, even if you could argue it's a type of discrimination--a discrimination that can't be settled any way except forcing someone to fuck someone they don't want to fuck. I say because people have actually said that it's racist to have a sexual preference. Sigh.

Anyway. Black guys are pretty much the only exception, even though black women are 3 times more likely to respond to a black guy. Black guys, according to okcupid, were most interested in Latinas.

Why do you think it's race that is driving this factor and not other variables? So is this something where white chicks go "I don't date black guys." Or are you just inferring that it's because of your skin color? But yeah. Like I said, I believe American women do tend to have very, very, very high self-worth and lots of requirements. Even the ones with self-esteem issues. But that's a difficult thing to really generalize effectively.

So how do you know it's 'cause of your skin color?

I would have to say that I strongly prefer foreign women. Most of the ones I have talked to actually claim they would never date a man from their own country, because American men treat women so much better. Whereas American women clearly don't value the traits most American men offer.

American don't understand what it is like to grow up in a culture that actually is sexist, where the men are expected to cheat in order to prove they are real men. I think it is because of this appreciation that the foreign women I have met, have been the sweetest kindest women I have ever met.

That isn't to say that if I met an American woman with a good outlook of us American guys I wouldn't love to date her, but overall, that is less likely than finding a foreign woman that will appreciate us.

I'm American, and I would say I prefer American or maybe British men, because I relate to them better. But at the end of the day, it's not a deal-breaker preference, I treat people as individuals. Never really heard American men complain about American women before... we vary so much, it's hard to generalize. Like, I'm American but of a South Asian cultural background so I would say my lifestyle is best of east and west... independent but feminine.

The only complaint I might say with Americans is we are too fixated on physical perfection and material things, and sometimes that can be overwhelming. I am surprised that you think American women value your ethnicity less... I would say Americans are more open to other races than most other countries. It makes sense, we're so diverse. I think black men are very handsome. I'd marry one if he was Muslim (my family is fixated on the muslim thing at least)

It's about the status of money, race and even exoticism. Certain overall attitudes come with certain socioeconomic standards. It can't be helped. Of course women from poor societies tend to be more willing to date non-natives with more money, since money is status. Japan is not a poor nation, but you go to Japan and attractive girls are drawn to even dorky white guys, because white is a status symbol. Many guys in those countries probably complain in the same way about their native women. Many American women are also probably more attracted to exotic, all else being equal.

There are women I'd never want to date from whichever country you name. Likewise the opposite can also be said, there are women from any said country I'd love to date. This is what is nice about women, there are beautiful ones everywhere across the globe. Ethnicity just changes their looks, but they still stay beautiful, pretty cool.

Personality comes from the individual. While ethnicity can certainly play a factor in it, ultimately, we are all different people, have different values, interests, personalities, etc.

So I'm sure there are American women I'd love to date. Along with Russian, Spanish, Asian, and all the like. And I'm sure there are some I'd be sooner to fall of a cliff than want to date.

I hear American women are more willing to put out than foreign women do, that may be a factor to them having more appeal. There's also the "exotic" thing. Guys like variety. As an American girl id say that I'm more attracted to people from foreign lands so it goes both ways. So far as the race thing goes, it does cause a lot of friction. I am Canadian and have to say that ‘foreign’ is too broad. It depends on WHERE and if their country’s values (and their personal values) are compatible with yours. The same goes for ‘domestic’ women, some will be compatible with you, some won’t. I like Canadian girls but have had relationships with foreign ones too.
