What is the percentage of marrying your middle school sweetheart?

Let me put this in perspective for you:

In my high school graduating class there were 494 students. Of those 494, 5 got married (3 got married to people from other schools/grades, and 2 married each other). And that is high school, from middle school I dont think any of the relationships made it. I remember there was a guy and girl who started dating in 7th grade and made it to 11th grade, but they ended up breaking up. That is the only middle school relationship I am aware of that lasted more then 2 years. I would say the chances of you marrying your middle school boyfriend right now are basically nothing. Although I wouldn't count it out entirely, just based off of my experience, where 0 out of 494 got married to someone they started dating in middle school, it probably isn't going to happen. Although there always is an exception I suppose.

If it was over 2% I'd be surprised. I dont think I know of a single couple thats been together since middle school.
