My boyfriend stopped holding my hand in public?

I love holding my boyfriends hand. It makes me feel close, loved and safe. We used to always do it in the beginning of our relationship, but now its like im walking with a friend rather than a boyfriend... He will have his hands in his pockets and when I reach to hold his hand, he lets go a few minutes or seconds later. Sometimes he even walks in front of me and I just feel awkward. Now I dont even try and dont expect to hold hands anymore and it makes me sad. How do I get him to hold my hand again?

Why not just ask him why he does that? You will never get a clear answer without asking him. I'm sure it's nothing personal.

You're dragging this on for too long... just tell him. There's a good chance he didn't even notice the change in behavior.
