Well Emo girls it depends as I am looking at a person as the... person itself, behaviour how it acts in society and how it acts only with friends. As how I think emo girls and maybe even guys act are like the followong, being shy and not sharing anything with starngers or society, once they think you are a trsutable friend they will how you their real face. Me for example I am the OVERLY OPTIMISTIC type when yu meet me first in a big group. but if I am taken like a face to face discusion... I would just find a reason not to do it... if I am forced too. I can barely say two or three words. For short shy when coming to know me directly and just "sociable" when talking to me in a big group. Emos on the other hand are shy in society and deny almost any kind of chat with a random stranger or even in a group of some known friends and strangers.
As a style... me personally I love it. but I would never have the guts necesasry to talk to an Emo Girl in real life. not even to a normal girl.. so yeah... I suck at life as many would say. But I am just shy...

The look can be hot, but only in a fetishistic way. It can never be as moving as classic, simple beauty or cuteness. The music is sub par. Led Zeppelin or the Doors, or even Nirvana could metaphorically kick the asses of all the emo bands out there. It seems limper and whinier than older rock. New rock should p*ss older folks off, not make them suspect it turns teen boys into wusses. I think it's popularity is symptomatic of the over parenting that has been on the rise in the past twenty years. Over parenting doesn't toughen you up.

Most importantly, why would you want to conform to a look that millions of other girls have? It's just like putting on any other uniform?

NP, just wondering, but why do "emo people" cut themselves?

Is it some sort of masochism? If it is why don't they just go to the gym?

Is it a ploy for attention? What is it that defines someone as "emo?" I read online, to try and find out, and discovered that Emo is a sort of movement that began once a new genre of punk rock separated itself from the original master genre.
