Wanting a sensitive guy doesn't mean you want a guy who will cry with you during the Titanic, or when he breaks a nail. Wanting a sensitive guy is wanting a guy who will take your feelings into consideration, a guy who want say "get over it" when you're having a a bad day.
A sensitive guy is also a guy who will be open about his feelings and not holding them in for you to decipher what's going on with him.
A sensitive guy is a guy who will talk to you about what you're doing that he dislikes instead of just smacking you in the face.
Maybe you macho men who don't give a damn about you, I don't know maybe that's your thing.
I'm not even a sensitive guy, nor a "non-sensitive" one, I'm more or less in the middle. I won't cry over bullshit, but I will be aware of my girl's emotions/feelings, but maybe you don't like that, which is fine.
You totally have the wrong idea... I'd talk about my self and u won't say I cry for everything, I go through severe anxiety and depression a bit. Having me talk illnesses make you emotional, it makes you understand emotions more then a nomal person... listening to music, I can express the feeling that's going on through the lyrics. A sensitive guy feels you, you really want a guy to be like "I don't give a shit" when you tell him you got hurt in your foot, or saying that about marriage. IL be hoping to have a girl that is emotional like me as well..
I would honestly say that my guy is sensitive, but he's also strong and can stand up for himself. I love that sensitive side of him because he's caring and loving. He does cry in stressful situations sometimes, but it's understandable. I can relate with him.
Not every girl personally enjoys having a sensitive boyfriend, but that's alright. Everyone has a different preference to who they prefer to date. I'm one of those girls who doesn't like having a strong guy because I prefer the way my guy is; relaxed, protective, and sensitive. Probably has something to do with psychological factors.

Guys have feelings too. Just because they get a bit sad during the Titanic doesn't meant they're sensitive. All that means is that they're human.
Truth be told, if I was with a guy who never gets sad or upset in any way, I'd be a bit concerned. I'm not into dating sociopaths. :/
I have no idea honesty. I'm in the same boat as you sista'. Lol I like men who are tough and protective and don't show much emotion to anyone but me. I like it when I'm like his "weakness" in a way haha, and I'm the only person he'll show a soft side to. Only a small soft side though, I wouldn't want a complete softie. I like guys who will take action and take control
I'm already a bit too sensitive, if my guy is sensitive as well, we're going to be the weirdest couple ever lol, I'm not saying I want him to be an emotionless a88hole but I want him to be able to appear strong at most time, but also be able to express his emotions and sensitivity with me...

Girls are often too stupid to really know what they want. When they say they want a sensitive guy they don't really know that they usually want a guy who has strong social skills and empathy to read and understand her.

Same. Clingy i feel goes with sensitive. Snd romantic and I don't like any of those things. There is a fine line of the sensitivity I can take.
I think what they mean is a guy who can understand their emotions. I agree some guys can be overly sensitive and are weak, but a good guy can have a balance of masculinity and understanding of girls' emotions.

Would you want the complete opposite though, a guy that's not sensitive about anything ever? This would include your feelings and needs.
I would think it's cute then they're tough and stuff normally but then sometimes show a sensitive side around just me. It would make me feel special. And it shows that if something really sad or bad happened he would be caring and supportive.
