My boyfriend's friend is hitting on me. What should I do?

My boyfriend's friend was telling me he is always there for me and he wants to keep me safe and that he really likes me. And I really don't like him, but when I try to tell him that he doesn't listen to me and just says all these other things. And there are two things I need help with, 1 is how can I get him to stop? and 2 is how can I tell my boyfriend about this?

Tell your boyfriend that you think his friend is making a move on you and tell him how it makes you feel. Tell your boyfriend this so he can start paying extra attention to his friend. Maybe he hasn't noticed it yet, but when he does he will talk to his friend about his friend's behavior. They won't fight if they are real friends.
