Boyfriend uses me as a sounding board for problems with ex?

My boyfriend of a couple months likes to use me as a sounding board for problems with his kids and his ex. Is this good or bad? What do I say or just let him bounce his frustration off me?

I think that it's good because he's opening up to you and obviously trusts you enough that he's discussing these private matters with you
