I kissed my friend's girlfriend?

I'm a 17 year old boy and basically, (sorry kinda long story) I really liked this girl who I knew liked me back and I began texting her and stuff. A week or so later, a close friend, who knew I was chirpsing her, started doing the same. They eventually started going out. :( I could not believe how angry I was at him and felt betrayed.
They've been going out for a few months now and the other night at a house party, we'd been chatting and getting along well and as i went into the bathroom, she came in with me. We spoke briefly (can't remember what about), then just looked into each other's eyes for what seemed like ages and then started kissing for a couple of minutes or so. I think she may have been upset about something that night but i'm not sure.
The next day she said we should keep it secret and pretend it never happened. I don't feel great as after trying for so long to get her out of my head, I'm once again thinking about her.
I just wanted some opinions on this whole situation? some advice maybe? I don't know..

She obviously still likes you. I think you need to tell her how you feel. And no, I'm not trying to tell you to destroy your friend's relationship and it's not like he didn't know you were interested in her ; what I'm saying is, tell her how you feel and let her decide who she wants to be with. If she picks you, great. If she doesn't, let it go and find someone else.
