Is this acne on my shoulders, chest? Pic?

I have some acne pimples that pop up on my chest , back & shoulders. But, I mainly have these brown looking spots. I get them all down my shoulders , even on my thighs. What is this? It goes away almost completely in the summer with tanning and for some reason , the pool. I'm VERY self conscious and refuse to even wear a tank top. Is it THAT bad?

That is most likely keratosis pilaris. The right locations pretty much. I mean, I have it on my upper arms, but I don't know much about it.
All I know is that I applied doctor prescribed lotion for about 6 months straight and absolutely nothing happened. It's the reason I never wear t-shirts with sleeves that show my upper arm.

Mine? It's not as bad anymore for some reason, and the... dots... are smaller than they seem in your pictures but I dunno I guess there's just variation between people.

Thanks ! I'm thinking that's what I have. A combo of both. I've been using acne body wash but it doesn't seem to help much. I guess it's off to the dermatologist

Dermatologist just gave me this lotion that didn't do shit after using it every day for about 6 months. (like I said).

I think you should see a dermatologist. It's probably just acne and they can give you a prescription body wash for it

Yeah i think its all acne. I get the same. Go and buy a loofa (i have one that has a wooden handle and the scrub part is white and hard. Cost like 15 dollars) then get it wet and exfoliate everywhere. You could also buy a body wash that helps with acne. But i wouldn't use the wash every day, just the brush.

Not trying to scare you, but I think you should go see the doctor. It doesn't look that bad so I don't think it's serious but I think it might be something you want to see since I never had that before. (But everyone is different)

Probably just acne. Never really had body acne so don't know how to deal with them. Consult a dermatologist.

Should have said shoulders and boobs lol anyways looks like small stretch marks or acne you popped I am not an expert so ask your doctor.
