White guys would you convert to Islam if?

Question

You met a Muslim girl that you really liked and wanted to genuinely be with?
I personally find myself drawn to white men but the majority of them aren't Muslim... and the ones that are on converts; but it's very hard to find white convert guys (especially around my age)

I find middle eastern women very beautiful. I wouldn't before I was a Christian, it is too scary of a religion that doesn't "fit". Its less scary now that I've met Muslims personally, but it is really different. I'm Christian now so I know I wouldn't convert even if she was amazing. It is the wrong direction... the man is supposed to lead...

I think the Muslim religion doesn't fit well in our society for most guys. We are based on freedom, with "love" as a concept in our culture... hopefully in families... not that we get it, get it the right way.

* God is your master, and you are the slave. You submit to him and do these 5 things... etc... Compare that to Christianity where you are loved by God, you are lost and he wants you back, he wants a relationship with you... Different concepts that dont' fit.

I know a woman (not religious at the time) married a muslim man and it was terrible, she loved him, but was scared from it. She's christian now. Maybe it can work, but seems tough given the differences.

You may find someone "off the edge of society" who has rejected Catholic/Christianity due to how lame, cold, frustrating, confusing, etc.. it can be. Or maybe a very intellectual who rejects religion altogether... but won't convert.

No. What religion you are is dictated by your core beliefs. I believe in my soul that what I believe now is the right answer. If what I believe now is right, logically, everything else, which would include Islam, is not the right answer.
If I were to change my religion just in the hopes of attracting a girl, that suggests how little faith and God actually mean to me, and whether what I had believed was real was the truth, or Islam was the truth, it wouldn't matter, because by showing how little faith actually meant to me, I'd belong in hell.

hang out at islamic conventions and gatherings and you're bound to meet a convert. if not, you can take a trip to turkey or some other european muslim country to find a husband hahaha

my question is, what's the point of being with a guy who only converts to please you? where does that leave his relationship with god? if you are actually religious then you would see that its pointless to look for a non-muslim in hopes of convincing him.

if you are just religious by tradition and culture then you should forget what your parents have instilled in you and marry whoever you want.

I have been in the situation and ask yourself the following questions:

- Why would he have to convert and not you convert for him? Its incredibly selfish.
- Is it disrespectful to convert just for a person rather than doing it genuniely? In my book it is.
- What do you really want? Clearly you are a muslim, yet want to date someone who hasn't grown up as a muslim. You might should ask yourself some essential questions about yourself and your religion and spirituality that are: What do you want and how are you? Most "white" guys are agnostic or atheist so they're not going to get religion for you. The ones that aren't are Christian so they're unlikely to convert. no. I would have absolutely no problem dating a Muslim girl, but I wouldn't change my religious beliefs for her. I'm atheist and that will never change and I'm not gonna pretend anything else for her. Religion doesn't have to be a big part of a relationship. I'd respect her views and support her in it, but I won't convert to something I don't believe in.
