Is it normal to have multiple bruises after sex?

I had sex for the first time with the guy I'm in a relationship with. I'm 20 haven't had much sexual experience prior to this encounter. After I noticed that my shoulders, under armpits, wrist, elbow, and thigh had bruises on it where he grabbed. I'm not sure if that's normal to occur durning intimacy?

That is very normal! I often come out of sex with my boyfriend covered in bruises, especially since we tend to prefer rougher sex. During sex, when you're pumped full of adrenaline, it's easy for your mind to block out 'pain', and you may not realize quite how rough you're getting in the moment

As long as you are enjoying yourself, and you are not hurt or in pain, than you are completely fine! :)
However, if you're worried about the bruising, you should talk to him about maybe just being a little more conscious about how rough he's being, and to be a little more gentle! Communication is key when it comes to sex!

It's normal for me. Lol People who engage in rough sex typically end up with some bruising. It's not for everyone though and if you don't like it, you need to speak up and tell him to be more gentle next time. Being vocal and communicating well is very important in any relationship and especially during sex.

Yes, if you are having rough sex. The sex would have to be extremely rough though for your entire body to be bruised that way.

Unless you bruise very easily, some people do.

It depends on your skin type because I bruise easily. It takes very little for a guy to leave marks on me.

If it wasn't too rough for you I wouldn't worry. If so, have a conversation about it.

Not during normal sex no. Sounds as if he was very rough with you, or you need to see a doctor - you shouldn't bruise from normal touching.
