Should I tell my boyfriend I missed my whole period?

Usually I get my period a couple days late only, not the whole period, this is the first time its happened to me:/

I did answer to tell him right away, apparently because I'm a girl.

One time, I had weird periods and was nervous, I told my boyfriend right away and he's the one who advised me to take a test.
I wouldn't take a test behind his back because I'd want him with me. I know I don't want an accidental pregnancy so I would be stressed out like crazy and I would want him with me as a moral support. He would probably be nervous too but at least he would be there.

You ALWAYS take a test first. And if it's negative, don't tell him about the scare. You don't want to put that unnecessary stress on him.

Um... what? Telling him that she missed her period isn't a false alarm. She's just telling him that she missed her period. It's not a false alarm unless she actually says she's pregnant and then she isn't. And even then, if it's an honest mistake, why would you break up with her? Good lord, the immaturity of this just amazes me.

@samhradh_leannan do I seriously have to explain this to you? The only thing she could be implying by saying she missed her period is that she's pregnant. The guy doesn't care about anything else & unless he's a doctor he probably doesn't know of any other reason a woman would miss her period. He would break up with her (like I would) because she is causing unnecessary drama. It's like saying I smell smoke and see flames, but there is no fire. Women who do that will never stop with attention seeking false alarms.

She's implying that she MIGHT be pregnant, or that she's AFRAID she's pregnant. You had sex with her, and if you hadn't, she wouldn't be worried about pregnancy. So deal with it, for christ's sake. SHE has to stress about it, so why does she have to keep that a secret just to spare YOUR feelings? I see no common sense there. You have a lot of growing up to do if you would force your partner to keep something this scary to herself just so you don't have to deal with any stress until things are definite.

I'm just shocked that you think this is how relationships work. And very, very thankful that I have an actual adult boyfriend who doesn't look at it the way you do. If you feel insulted, sorry- I think your attitude is selfish and I don't see any reason not to call you on it.
