The choices aren't great. You have 9s and 4s. You can only pick 1 9 and 1 4 or 3 4. Not a pretty choice. I would modify it a bit and each trait will have a rank. More traits needs more $ and negative traits gives back $. Each rank is equal to the last rank +1 and you need the last rank so a rank 2 would cost you 1+2.

For example:

Pretty, Beautiful, Gorgeous: $2, $4, $6 each rank ($2, $5, $11 total for desired ranking)
Bright, Smart, Genius: 3, 6, 9.
Average, Fit, Athletic: 1, 2, 3.
Finicky, Cheater, Gold digger: -2, -4, -6
Below Average, Ugly, *brings holy water*: -1, -5, -10!
Vain, somewhat nuts, Completely Crazy: -1, -3, -6!
