My boyfriend from the beginning would ask me to sing to or in front of him or dance for him. Now I get extremely shy because that's just never been me. He gets angry when I don't do it. I tell him i can't sing and I feel pressure when I'm told to dance, that I have confidence to do such things depending on environment and circumstance (parties etc). He said if I love him I'll feel comfortable to do these things. I get what he means but it's like he doesn't understand I've never been like that to sing out loud and dance out of the blue. Besides I feel pressure when he tells me to do it rather than just let things flow. It's like doing things on his terms. I love him and of course I wish I had the confidence to be like that and I'm trying to change. I know I sing a lot more in front of him although he says he can never hear me. Then I get shy because I can tell he's just trying to hear me rather than just hear me by the off chance. Guys, is this an important factor for you? Does it make me boring? Girls, what do you think about this?
