Why does my girl always say, "thank you for being you"?

What is that suppose to mean. She always says how amazing I am but more frequently (a few times a week) says, thank you for being you. What exactly she mean by that?

That is quite possibly one of the kindest things someone could ever say to you, I've told my previous girlfriend that a few times and I really meant it.

That could be, I do wonder if she had a lot of "fakes" in her past and maybe that is why. Hmmm......it's just and interesting choice of words to here frequently
