Why you shouldn't be a girls Emotional Tampon?

No offense... you are really good at sounding like an asshole..

BUT you're right in the fact that you don't have to be an emotional sponge...

but being willing to be able to have empathy for someone and give them solid advice is always good..

know that you can't always bear everything giving to you though is self healthy...

if you feel bored by someone's emotional problems or uninterested.. then you are just an asshole.

im in no way saying you're wrong or right, who knows what has made you and you should be yourself...

but if you're just bored by a persons sad story... then you are an asshole... so don't even try not to sound like one, and don't worry... my best friend is an asshole he gets plenty of girls though only emotionally unstable ones go to him.

i try and help tons of people but i can only take so much before my heart gets tired... i don't abandon people i just take short rest. i get tons of people to talk to as a result..

i also used to be an asshole, so i can understand both sides i think.

The only one i was interested in had a boyfriend, i'm friends with a lot of girls but not girls i'd date.

but even if i always got friendzoned that doesn't really bother me.

You are not to be her emotional tampon. However, that does not mean that you're not supposed to listen to her problems. You're supposed to simply shut up and listen to them while she keeps on talking (yapping) about them. What you don't do, is try to console her, or comfort her, or do something that is influenced by her emotions, or makes her feel weak or fragile. That's why you're not supposed to be her emotional tampon, and soak up all of her emotions, just the same way a tampon soaks up all of her menstrual blood.
You're supposed to remain unaffected like a wall, and whenever she pauses, you're supposed to take a poke at her blister without hurting her. In other words, you're supposed to encourage her to say more, and listen to all she has to say. You'll know when she's done, or when she's asking for your advice.
A tip: cut the conversation when she's asking for help about how to attract other guys.

You do realize that if you plan to be with a girl then you're going to hear about the good and bad in her life, right? So if she's having a bad day and she wants to talk to you then let her. If you don't want the bad and only want the good then it's probably best not to do a relationship.

Girls do friendzone guys who are sexually interested in them when they listen to their problems. It's fine for the girl since her attraction dies off, but it's not fine for the guy because he's attracted to the girl.
