1. Get married, give a woman enormous legal and financial power over my life, endure the life destruction of alimony, asset division, child support (alimony++) & false accusations (leading to perma criminal record), get sent to prison when I can't afford to make payments to my slave master, end up broke, potentially homeless and/or just another suicide statistic.
2. Stay blissfully single & problem free, focus on my future, retire early to a life of blissful singlehood, refuse to give women & the state life destroying power over my future and never have to worry about some entitled she-beesh trying to destroy my life when she gets bored.

Women want to do all of the jobs in the military, but not sign up for the draft AND they want a little help along the way because they don't have the body of men.

I find it bitter and sad being perfectly honest. I don't personally know any woman who behaves the way we're portrayed by the movement, and I know I certainly don't do it so it just seems like a bunch of fear mongering phooey. Saying so many women are like that, that they feel the need to label vagina owners with derogatory names is just weird to me but they're entitled to their opinion.

I do know women who act that way, but I also know men who act just as bad if not worse. The only subject I agree with these guys on is legal issues in marriage. That needs to change, but a good prenup can protect a man's rights and keep her accountable for her actions.

@JayParris marriage is equal in the fact it's the higher income earner who can potentially lose out. It's not a gender issue, if men chose women who were as financially ambitious as they are there wouldn't be the seperation of assets there currently is.

I don't believe a man should have to pay to maintain the level of lifestyle his wife accustomed to if she screwed it up or decided to walk away. If she cheats, she should not only forfeit any spousal support, she should pay damages. The way it is now, no matter who screws up, the man pays dearly. If he cheats, I have no sympathy for him either.
And putting it back on him for not choosing a high- paid woman is kind of a copout, isn't it? If he spent years supporting her and she threw it all away because she couldn't keep the dick out of her pants, she should lose everything. He spent years building a home and life for her, and she gets to screw around and keep it anyway.
I've known quiet a few women that behave that way. I've witnessed just about every MGTOW claim with women and then some. Women get a free pass when it comes to many things and have a huge advantage over men in general, I know I've witnessed it.
That seems to imply your choice of those you surround yourself with are bad people, not that the majority of women are like this.

@JayParris If you think a prenup will protect you you're very wrong. When it comes to facing off in a court room a judge will throw that prenup out. And also you are obviously over looking the free passes women get, women don't have to sign up to be drafted, women get a huge advantage over men in divorce courts, women get free housing, women go free into clubs, women get away with crimes and if a woman makes any accusation against a man her word is taken. Women objectize men all the time, but men aren't suppose to objectize men. And women are always valued above men in society, don't believe it, watch the Titanic. And that's only a very small list of things where MGTOW makes sense.
You didn't specify as to what it is you agree on to custody of children.
I'm not saying their claims are false. I've seen it. What I'm saying is that if you need a support group to go your own way in life, you're not really going your own way. You're being influenced and directed by others on how to think and what you do. That's not going to lead you to happiness any more than putting women on a pedestal and allowing them to influence and direct you.
If you bring a prenup to a court date without presenting it in the filings leading up to that point, the judge has every right to throw it out. Also, if its worded poorly and doesn't apply to the circumstances, he can throw it out then, too.
In my opinion, the morally superior parent should get custody. The court is all about what's best for the kids, and if the mother is a manipulative, lying adulterers, the father (providing that he's no worse) should get custody.
@JayParris I see where you're coming from. However feminist didn't do it alone and neither can a lone man. MGTOW is not a movement however, it's a answer to a outcome lead by feminist a very bad outcome for men. And for the sake of being recognized and ways of dealing with that bad outcome is where MGTOW was born. MGTOW is very similar to a AA meeting for example where men can voice their experiences give other men advice based on their experiences and advice how to deal with those experiences. MGTOW gives men the freedom to choose their own direction but also gives warnings to what is poor directions or bad directions. Of course MGTOW has scorned men too but those men were scorned on behalf of bad treatment from either women, or the system that's been designed against men which is where the dangers lay in the (system). Speaking of the system and prenups, there is no prenup that will survive in a divorce court, I've heard it from too many men the outcomes.
Some of the community is not nice I've seen some acting like all women are pure evil there are bad women out there who will try to take everything from you but there are good women out there too I haven't much of the positive side of the community on youtube yet I'm probably looking in the wrong place looking in the wrong place oh well I don't mind just long as its legal I don't care
It's not so much bad women, it's more a matter of a system set up against men with the potential for good women to go bad and take advantage of men.
I think they are a group of bitter men. They feel insecure and created a fake way of life in order to feel better about themselves. I have been going my own way for 31 years on the advice of married men in the country side. It was the best advice I was given. Mind you back then I didn't know as much. A lot men aren't marrying. Married people are the minority and a lot men are just sick the dis function of women.

I think there's two things here. On one hand we have men go their own way. Ok, fine, it's a dangerous dating world where you can sacrifice so much for some sex and love. I understand that and respect that.
But then we have the mgtow guys that are just loser ass beta males. Neckbeards. Involuntary celibates. I used to be one so I fully understand their plight.
But I also recovered from it and have seen reality. They make women out to be these evil beings of pure malice. I'm already divorced, and I already live life on my own terms. I've lived through a lot of the shit MGTOW rattles on about, and there is truth to it, but I don't need a support group and I certainly don't need a bunch of bitter men constantly spouting negative shit about how the system is designed against them and how women are nothing but whores and opportunistic leeches. You guys preach about what's going to lead men to happiness and fulfillment, but all I see is a bunch of whining, hating, self-indulgent, unhappy, unfulfilled man-children.
I'm working on myself. I'm working toward building a more fulfilling life. I have a great group of men and women as friends. Yes, I'm still looking for a good woman to share my life with, because every man I know who's actually happy has a good woman by his side. But now that I've improved myself to the point I can be moderately happy from day to day, I have women chasing ME. Now I get to pick and choose. If I get rejected, its no big deal - that's real confidence. When I'm in a relationship, I treat her right - if I'm not being treated the way I deserve, I'm out. I don't care who she is, I'm not putting her on my pedestal; this is MY spot. I've put in a lot of hard work and struggled all the way from death's door to get up here.
But the whole point is: MGTOW tells you to withdraw; to walk away and stop playing the game. That's no way to be happy. Figure out the rules and how to use them to your advantage, and turn the game around. You can't be a winner if you're sitting on the bench.

A main characteristic of the MGTOW movement is that they are utterly and extremely focused on women - one of the only things they can talk about. To me, that doesn't show me that they have "gone their own way", to me it sounds like crying manbabies wailing for attention.
