Why is my girlfriend's skin so amazingly soft?

So not only have I never been a super touchy feel person (meaning I rarely ever felt skin), but I've also never had a girlfriend in my life till more or less recently (we've been together for 4-5 months). So I have rarely ever felt anyone's skin but my own and hers.

But regardless of me having rarely felt anyone's skin before, I can still confidently say one thing about her skin: it's so fucking sooooooooft. Her skin feels like literal heaven to my sense of touch. It's just so soft, smooth, and perfectly silky. It also visually looks healthy, as well. It's spotless, and it glows. And she has a nice, light, slight natural tan. It's a lot prettier than my pasty white skin.

I used to think my skin was kind of soft, but compared to hers... it's not in the least.

I've noticed her skin's softness in just any case scenario where my skin makes contact with hers, really. The first time I ever felt her skin was when we first held hands. We still hold hands a lot. She also likes to peck me on the cheek, or just nuzzle her cheeks up against mine, for affection. If we're both wearing shorts, we like to make our bare legs touch, as we both agree that it's a sign of comfort to have our legs touch without fabric coming between them. If we're at the pool/beach, we like to sunbathe right next to each other in our swimsuits, meaning our skin touches in that scenario as well.

Now she doesn't know how much I love her soft skin. I didn't even bring it up to her, as I believe it'd sound creepy to point out it's softness. I'd rather point out her brains or her pretty face. But regardless, I still wonder...why is it so ridiculously nice and soft?

My own skin is not 1/16th as smooth as hers. I'm not sure her skin even feels human, it feels like the skin of an angel.

Why is her skin so amazingly soft? Why is my own skin not nearly as soft as hers? Can I make my own skin as soft as hers? I'd really like to. I just love softness. Leave your responses down below.

skin of women are softer than men's. it's not a big deal 😁
men are designed to be tough while women not. you take more hits n injuries usually in life.

Ah, so it's not just merely because women commonly apply Dove brand lotion/moisturizer/soap to their skin? (like MiamiMadness said)

But also because in general, women just simply have softer skin than men?

Well I guess it makes sense, since back then males were intended to be warriors, while females were intended to just look after the children.

But that still carries onto today? I have never done anything rough that may cause injuries to my skin, so it wouldn't make sense for it to be rougher than hers because of that.

It's probably just rougher because what went on back then evolved to what we know today, in which resulted men having rougher skin due to prior being warriors, and women in softer due to prior just being mothers.

It makes sense. Women are smaller and more delicate, so... yeah.

I can still make my skin at least pretty soft by applying the Dove lotion. Not as hers, since she's a girl, but I can still get it to feel nice, hopefully :)

yup it's simple genetics. ofc you can get softer skin too but a guy won't be like a woman.

Plus, I guess it'd be pretty weird if a 6'1 hairy man (me) was just as soft as my 5'7 delicate faced hairless (ik it's cuz she shaves, but still... I look better with body hair, she looks better without it) girlfriend. It just wouldn't fit.

Regardless, though, I'll still make it softer than before, as I love softness. Not as soft as my girl's, of course, haha... but still pretty soft.

Of course, what's there not to enjoy? Haha.

And you think we're tall? Well thanks... though we don't really necessarily FEEL all that tall.

We live in Orlando Florida, and around here, we're a little taller than average. Most girls are shorter than her, and most guys are shorter than me... but it's really not that rare to encounter girls taller than her, or guys taller than me.

It's like about 70% of them are shorter than us, and 30% are taller. Something like that.

Overall, I'd say yeah, we're pretty tall... but not tall enough like a superhuman who can reach whole new levels of height. We're just slightly above average. Haha.

It's a good thing that people are different heights. It'd be pretty boring if we were all the exact same height. Wouldn't you agree?

What does that mean? Is that like a different way of saying love or something? In that case, yes, I do indeed love her very much. She's a very lovely girl. She's got both the aesthetics, and an even more wonderful personality.

But that doesn't quite answer the soft skin question, though... or does it? I'm not really familiar with modern phrases and such, so... I'm pretty clueless, lol. I've sort of been living under a rock.

Ah, you're right. It's indeed a brand of soap/moisturizer/lotion. I didn't even know that type of stuff could make your skin softer, but now I do.

I'll make sure to get some of that stuff for myself for sure, the next time I go shopping, now that I know that's the kind of stuff that keeps your skin soft.

I doubt my skin will be exactly like hers... she's an adorable 5'7 girl, who looks delicate and sweet, and she shaves her body hair. Now I'm 6'1, don't look nearly as delicate/adorable as her, and don't shave my body hair.

But I should be able to still close the gap at least a bit. My skin should be at least 50% soft like hers.

But regardless, yes, just be happy indeed, even if my own skin doesn't end up like hers. Much better she have super soft skin than super rough skin. With her delicate looks, I can't imagine her with rough skin.

Yes girls skin is genetically softer that's because we have more estrogen in our bodies than men the reason why men's skin is not as soft is because they lack this chemical in their body because their body is more likely filled with testosterone that does not mean though you can improve you skin and make it softer sure it won't be as soft as her but it will get soft if you use certain products I recommend instead of dove use goat milk soaps and bodywash and if you wanna make your hair softer you can get goat milk shampoos they give your skin and hair healthy proteins and moisturize giving my skin softness same with my hair it's soft really soft now I honestly don't use much dove anymore not even for my shampoos it's either goat milk or whole blends
