My boyfriend and I have been together over a year. I love him and we get along and everything but I am sooo bored. 90% of the time I don't even feel like I'm even in a relationship. We see eachother like once a week and live less than 15 min away from eachother. He doesn't make an attempt to see me more than once a week and it doesn't seem to bother him. Sex isn't fun anymore and the connection is completely gone. When we do see eachother it's just to sleep so that's always a fun time. Lol. I love him and his family but never doing anything together kind of makes the whole relationship pointless?

Tell him everything that you said in this post and see how he reacts. If he's a decent guy then he should try to work things out to see if the relationship is salvageable. If he doesn't try to do anything though I would have to say to end the relationship. If you aren't happy in the relationship then why are you even in it? I also have the motto that people will rarely change so if you are unhappy now, there is a high chance that you'll also be unhappy in the future because he's complacent with how the relationship is going.

Get over yourself and find out what the honeymoon phase is. You're entering into a new part of your relationship, survive the transition and you'll enjoy it much more. Also, you don't know love yet.

And tell him to take you out on a real date. You treat him like a king and he'll treat you like a queen, but sometimes you'll both need to get your heads on straight.

I have. Apparently he's fine w one day a week and never doing anything when we do see eachother. I'll bring it up and it will get better but then it's back to once a week.

Well, why don’t you sit down with him and talk about how you feel? Be 100% transparent and honest. Lay everything down on the imaginary table, that way you have nothing else left to say which will allow you to assess whether the answer he gives is good or bad. It’s been a year, relationships during this time have passed through their “honeymoon” phase. It’s normal to feel that you aren’t as active or excited as during the very beginning of your relationship. Just talk with him.
