I’m starting to feel more like a penpal. I’ve been with him for two months now. I feel like he’s barely putting any effort into this. He texts me all day and he says he misses me and wants to see me, but never follows through. Today was my final straw and I asked him what he was doing today and he said he was just chilling. I feel pathetic waiting around for him to make plans. I attempted making plans with him about two weeks ago. He said he would make it work, even though he was busy. A few days before the date was supposed to happen he canceled and said that he apparently had to help his family with Christmas decorations which never ended up happening. I’m starting to feel more and more alone. It feels like he only wants to see me on his terms.

Man, that really sucks. Two months and he's barely making time for you? That's disrespectful as hell. A relationship is a two-way street and it doesn't sound like he's carrying his weight at all.

I'd say dump his ass, you can do way better than being someone's third priority after "chilling" alone and maybe seeing his family. You deserve someone who's actually excited to spend time with you and make you a priority. Don't waste your time waiting around for this dude, he's had plenty of chances to step up and he's shown you he won't. You need someone reliable who won't flake and will put in real effort. This clown ain't it.

Break up with him over text since he can't be bothered to see you in person. Then block him everywhere and move on with your life without his annoying excuses dragging you down. Plenty more fish in the sea, you'll find someone 10x better in no time.

Damn, that's the worst. Nothing ruins the vibe more than feeling like you're begging for someone's attention, even worse when they live close by so there's no real excuse.

Seems like this dude just isn't that into putting in effort. Like if he really cared, he'd make time no matter what's going on. And saying he's busy all the time is lame, we all got shit going on but you make time for what's important.

I'd stop hitting him up first and see what he does. If he doesn't reach out on his own to make firm plans real soon, take the hint. You deserve someone who can't wait to see you too, not some dude who leaves you feeling needy just for a little attention.

Don't keep wasting your time chasing after someone who isn't chasing you back. Hard as it is, best thing might be to cut em loose and show you ain't gonna wait around. I'm sure one of the girls would be happy to keep you company instead if you're tryna forget about this clown. Keep your head up luv, better days coming!
