Which is better? to follow your heart or your brain?

Brain. Emotions can drive people to some bullshit while logic fails us a lot less.

Cognitive psychology say "Emotion + Thought = Response"

So I could say something like "this female dog is a bitch" and a person that leans heavily on the logical side will totally see I was right. The emotional individual will probably lock onto their feelings attached to the crass use of "bitch" and thus judge what I said from their emotional perception. Instead of me stating something mundane, their emotional response alone gave me a negative tone, and possibly even labeled me under a general category of men that call human women female dogs along with the assumption as to what those guys are like.

Emotion can twist the facts waaaay too much in my opinion.

Follow your brain, don't discount your heart. Well it's not like you can remain rational for every kind of situation, sometimes you make stupid decisions at the heat of the moment.

It's good to follow your brain, but don't forget your heart when it comes into decision-making.. I think in decision making need both heart and brain, don't leave one of them
