Are women meaner than men?

why is it that the majority of the time I'm upset or put down about something its because of what a woman has said or done to me? I've recently noticed that when I'm on campus or even out in general if I smile at a girl or say hello they will not respond half as much as the men do.

Is it true that women are just bitchier than men?

I've grown up with mostly females in my family (like 80% females and 20% males) and to this day the more men that I meet as I get older than more I am amazed at just how sweet they actually are or how much they really don't care if someone says something mean. They just shrug it off. And if they do get upset about something they have a quick go at it and then all is fine.

Just wondering and thought I would post my question... No offense to the wonderful women out there! I admit that I can be very bitchy at times too.

no. Men and women are both equally mean. Women might be catty to women that they are jealous of, but men can be just as mean if given the opportunity. Guys are sweet if they think you're hot (which it sounds like you are because you have the girls hating on you) but if you turn those same guy's advances down see how sweet they are. Or watch how some of those same guys treat girls they date and see if they are still sweet. Not to say that all men are bad, but they aren't all nice and sweet either. Both sexes can be equally mean, just like all women aren't catty and mean. It depends on the individual

Ok thanks! Yeah, I have had some mean guys in my life but I guess I never really met a guy who was catty. maybe that's the difference and what makes it seem like girls can be meaner.

Aww and thanks! I wouldn't consider myself "hot" tho. I never really understood what makes one person hot and another person not. hahaha Society seems to do that for us.

Yeah..women tend to be more bitchier than men but guys can be quite nasty too if not bitchy

I grew up in a house full of males except for my mother and I was happier than I would have been growing up in a house full of women

Then again women can be really nice to hang around with and talk to..it` s just some women have mood swings and men really don` t

If a woman has a problem with something she will mention it repeatedly and will not let it go

whereas men will say what they want to say once, get it off their chest and let it go

I think women tend to be more aggressive in emotional and verbal warfare than men do. I remember hearing somewhere that it is an evolutionary/social construct that came about because women simply do not have the physical strength that men do, so we developed stronger skills in hurting feelings to protect ourselves and our property.

So, in short, you're not just sensitive. Women really do act bitchier than men. hahaha.

women are usually mean and hurtful verbally while guys usually settle things with their fists if there's an arguement. But then again I have seem some pretty crazy girls try to beat the crap out of each other and some guys have said some pretty hurtful things to me. And I know both some guys and girls who are very sweet and sensetive. So id say it depends more on the individual person than there gender. But your right though girls are terrible to each other sometimes. Iv seen how mean they can be.

Mean and woman are built differently. Woman are mental (yes there crazy but that's not what I ment) while boys tend to be more physical. While bones and flesh heal the mind only scars. Femals are mental assasins. Words can cute deeper then any knife.

WithThis said we can come to the conclusion woman are worse then men.
