Certainly friendships rise and fall, especially in our age group. Our similarities and differences become more apparent and we react to that. Sometimes I look back and wish I had placed more value on my friendships that have waned. From time to time I have a tendency to see things through a narrow scope and become too self involved. As I get older I try to think a little harder about what my friends mean to me.
