What does it mean when my boyfriend says "I'll love you later"?

When we have to say good bye or good night to each other I've noticed he has a tendency to say "I'll love you later". I'm confused as to what this means. I know he doesn't mean anything bad by it but I can't figure out what exactly means. Help please.

original. maybe he personalised "see you later his own way like a symbol." not to imply not love now.

It means love you now, love you later. He can't physically be with you so he will love you later, later being the next time he can physically be with you.

to wld, i dont agree about together love continued when far away. but later could mean after i exit.

I fully plan to next time I see him. I was just getting some thoughts in advance. :)

It always takes me a while to realize what he said though so by the time it processes through he's already gone. lol.

Also, I've asked him about using the word love before and he's told me he never realizes he says it around me (but does it all the time!).

no, dont ask a guy that, we would get scared off like you were analyzing every word. my opinion dont ask a guy just flow with it.
