What does it mean when a guy says "we'll talk about it later"?

To me it just seems like he's dismissing the argument and he doesn't really care.

We were fighting about where things were headed for us in the future. I suggested maybe things aren't going to work out and that we should stop talking/seeing each other. All he said in response was that we'll talk later cause he's busy right now and his sinuses were making him cranky. I'm not sure if that was an excuse or he meant it.

Sounds like you were giving him a headache and he didn't want to deal with you at that moment... no offense

if he was ill its normal for him to want to talk later...but if he wasn't ill it might be an excuse
