If you disagree as a women, think about what percentage of men you are attracted to and would give a chance to, it will almost always be lower than the percentage of women a man is attracted to. This makes dating harder for men than it is for women.

Well, they are.
But it's perfectly normal.
You become picky too when you have too many options (think in a restaurant with a huge menu).
But wait! - You will say- there is the same number of men and women, so both should have the same options!
Wrong! Because traditionally (last 3 centuries, before there were only arranged marriages) men are supposed to make the so called first move. But when they do it doesn't always work out (already taken, not a local resident, not like him, not dating and so on), so for every man's opportunity (option) he has to try with say (a guess, on average) 10 girls, before he finds a girl interested in him.
Whereas a girl knows that a man trying with her is surely interested, so 1 option for a girl is 1 interested guy, hence in the end women = 10x men's opportunities, more options, more picky, just like when you are shopping in a huge mall with hundreds of t-shirts, in comparison with the shop in your street with maybe 10 t-shirts :) .

Affect and effect, they have more options because men are less picky, your point goes without saying. It does cause problems with about 1:1 population ratio, men become embittered with having to try much harder and think it isn't worth it (you should read the string of articles called the sexodist and how men in countries like japan think it isn't worth it anymore). This also leaves a lot of women without partners.

I agree, but I'm probably even pickier. So I just live my life and keep improving myself until those girls I do find attractive enter my life. They have and they will, but acknowledging how rare it is for me keeps me focused on making my life better

I think it's mostly individualistic, and the older a woman gets the less picky she is at least looks-wise since she's likely to want to start settling down. Young, hot girls are definitely some of the pickiest.

No, the difference is that a man can knock up multiple women a day while a women can only get pregnant once in 9 months. Eggs are more rare than sperm thus worth more. This makes men far more sexually driven and more sexually attracted to women in general.
