My boyfriend's friends think I'm crazy

Ok, so there was a point during our 4 year relationship in which we were fighting all of the time. I must admit, I did some very unbecoming things.as did he. But, of course, they only know his side. Now that we've figured things out and are doing better than ever, I'm nervous about seeing them. I'm afraid it'll be awkward. How can I show them that I really am an awesome girl who isn't off her rocker? Or should I just not give a damn about what they think?

You should be concerned about his friends liking you. It is important for your relationship

Do yourself a favor. if you two break up just say "it didn't work out" let him go and say a bunch of shit about you. You keep all your comments to yourself and just go on with your life. Be happy around people. Don't talk about him at all. Its ok to look upset everyonce in awhile otherwise you wouldn't be human. People like to know you are human ;)

And like I said if someone asks you what happened just say "it didn't work out"

stick to your morals and don't go out hooking up with every guy you see.

They will see you for you really are. He may ask them not to talk to you and they may listen. If so just forget them and move on. Focus all that negative energy into positive things. Become a better person. Don't hate the past.

Do you care what they think because:

A) You want them to know that you are not crazy, and that he also did "Unbecoming" things, which is why you all fought sometimes. It's somewhat important to you that they know you were justified to get mad at him a lot of the time.

B) You care about him, and so care about the relationship you have with the other people in his life that he cares about.

If it "A" then just don't worry about what they think, and be sure that they will continue to feel the same way about you. If it's "B" then just continue to be awesome, and they will see that and understand that fights happen in relationships, and that people mature and grow out of sillyness as they get older.

I have a similar situation, I actually was told by one of his friends that rumour is I'm crazy! I was so offended, I think it just goes to show how little some can know about how relationships go, its never one sided! and yes in my situation he did some crappy things too! I say if they want to get to know you and be friends that's great! but if they just going to continue to treat you like you don't matter then try to think of them the same.. what matters is your relationship if you love your man not them, as long as you can talk to him about that's what matters!

You're pretty doomed if his friends all hate you. At some point they'll catch his ear. You need to try to win them over.

Best advice is to be yourself, and be nice to them. Then they can say, 'what the hell was this guy talking about."
