Should Couples be allowed to hang out with Single people?

Hanging out with couples when you're single can be very weird. Couples on the one hand are very happy and overly affectionate but on the other hand are very nosy and pushy. They are just so Happy not to be alone anymore that they want to show off their happiness and at the same time rub it in our single faces. The weird part comes after they calm down their sexual high. Suddenly you become this stray animal to them. They start looking at you with these weird eyes while trying to figure out why someone abandoned you. Then they proceed in a mission to find you a "home" that makes sense for them. When we really just need time to adjust to our new surroundings. We need stability not dependence.

A Single person to a Couple, who's just come down from the 3 to 6 month sex high, is a symbol of lost freedom and independence. A single person can come and go as they please. They don't have to compare schedules or check in all the time with someone who up until a few months ago were a complete stranger. Maybe best of all is the time to enjoy some peace and quiet to yourself without hurting someone's feelings by asking to be alone for a bit. I mean you love your partner but everyone needs a few hours to themselves to do nothing, to worry about nothing. Single people are a constant reminder of the cost of companionship, but only you can decide it's worth it.

So with all that in mind, Should Couples be allowed to hang out with Single People?

Yes.

Maybe, In moderation.

If they're all comfortable with it, then why not? It may not necessarily be a good idea to do it all the time, but every once in a while should be fine.

A couple can be independent together almost as if we are all just friends and only that.

Yes, I see no problem with that, can't believe someone puts it like this, friends can have a good time together regardless of their couple status. The only problem is when the single person is desperate to be in a relationship and boils with envy.

Nah, it is just that couples tend to hang with other couples. When you get married your single friends tend to drift away and you start hanging with other couples, especially when you have kids.

No shit they should, I used to hang out with people who had bf/gf I hated it being the third wheel, but I liked being with my friend plus sometimes the bf/gf turns out to be kinda of a cool person
