If a guy jokes about marrying you, does he like you?

We were talking and joking around, and my guy friend said to me, "when we get married, I'm getting you a pink snuggie as a wedding present".

Obviously this was supposed to be funny, but why is joking that he wants to marry me? Anyway, I'm in a relationship, and he knows it. It might be awkward if he actually likes me.

Honestly, I think he's just joking. I joke like that sometimes with absolutely no interest in the guy. If I see a guy as a friend and I feel totally comfortable around him, I would make that kind of joke. I would NOT make that kind of joke if I actually had feelings for the guy. I know it's always opposite day with me. Honestly I make stupid jokes all the time so I hope people don't take it seriously.
