I don’t have any friends of opposite sex these days. Long ago I did and he wasn’t so much protective but he did scream at someone who called me chubby lmao.

I can count the times on one hand when a female friend stuck up for me.
It’s most helpful when another female is being a cunt and running her mouth insulting me while abusing her female privelege (she knows I can’t hit her or making threatening remarks to defend myself). In THOSE scenarios its nice to have a tough female friend. She can say and do things to the bitch that I can’t.
I am selectively protective of all my friends. If someone starts shit with them, I will throw down. If they start shit with someone else, they're on their own.
Not at all protective really. Then again the few times I actually needed help I was all on my own so guess we’ll never know. I still think they probably would just run off though 😂
I'm very protective of my female friends. If we are at a bar and walking through a crowd I put my hand out so no guys try to grab their butt as we are walking by.
Let me put it this way, I found out my sister was sexually assaulted, I literally considered saving up for a flight to the opposite coast with my brother and honorary brother and killing a man I had never met because he hurt my sister.
As for what ended up happening. I did not fly out and I most definitely did not kill someone. As far as I know the fucker whose name she hasn't told me is still breathing, though the gods know he shouldn't be
My best friend is a girl and while she is very capable of looking after herself, probably more than I am, I just care so I can be protective, not necessarily because I think she needs it, but just because I want to look out for her and have her back. She's aware of it too though so if she can't be bothered deal with an annoying guy she'll set me on him😂
Alpha males are more protective in general the more testosterone the more aggressive in nature. It's good thing @SngBirdy really put it perfect 👍 Bravo dude
It really depends. I've had several female friends that just invite drama so In those cases I let them shovel their own shit. Others it is just instinct to be protective of.
Hmmm, this could go either way. He may be just keeping you safe or he may like you, tough call. I've defended female co workers and not been into them. But as a rule of thumb I don't date who I work with. Ask him some personal questions and see if he answers lol if he does he could be into you and is choosing not to keep his powder dry.
I'll make sure she gets home safely. But I'm not there to protect her honor by beating up every guy who calls her a "whore" or a "slut". That's up to her.

This is me! Don't start shit and then expect me to jump in.

My male friends and brother are very protective and can also get aggressive if needed, I have nothing against it tho lol

I guess I must be extremely fortunate in having both my husband and close male friends always making me feel safe and secure.

My male friends are definitely not protective of me. Lately I’m seriously doubting if they’re even good friends
Im somewhat.
Not all my female friends are worth, they do such deeds,
But at the end i would always step up.
