Why My boyfriend hide me from his family?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for a year. He hides me from his family. He said it because the religion. He is a Christian. We always fight these days because of that.
Cause now he is in his parent's place for a month. Whenever I called him and someone came to him, he ended the call. Our communication becomes lack because of his situation (around family). When I asked him when he will tell about us to his family he always say later. I'm really upset now. Should I end relationship because of that? But it's torture me

if he can't be man enough to be open with his family about you, then is there truly a relationship its almost like your just a side chick or someone he doesn't think his parents would approve of... so yeah tell him straight and give him an ultimatum then if he fails leave him for your own happiness

If it's been a year and you two are exclusive otherwise, then he is being very immature and borderline shady by not letting his family (parents in general) know of you, let alone, introduce you too them.

I’ve had to “hide” relationships. I’ve introduced past girlfriends to my family and then I have to tell them why we ended it and have the judgement no matter the reason. I’ve had to make sure it’s real before I even introduce them to one family because of the stress of it all. I don’t go in and out of relationships often but the few I’ve had there’s been a lot of judgement and that’s very impactful for a strong Christian family.
