Why does he keep me away from his family?

I met a guy and he said he wants to date me so I began to tell him about me and my family and etc but when I ask him about his family he changes the conversation and when I come over he wants to leave the house or hides me in his room he doesn't let me have a conversation with his family members why ? Is he embarrassed by his family or wat?

Here are the possibilities I think are most likely.

#1: He doesn't get along well with his family, and doesn't want you to know about the turmoil that goes on at home, or how they treat him.

#2: He doesn't want to introduce you to his family until he thinks it's really serious and is pretty sure you're not going anywhere for a while.

#3: His parent(s) might not approve of him dating, or of you, and could cause some serious trouble for you and the relationship.

#4: He is ashamed of his family, or what they do, or how they treat him, or his girlfriends, and doesn't want it to affect how you see him.

#5: He is either ashamed or not to proud of you, and is hiding you from them as to avoid awkwardness either immediately or later on.

These are the most likely scenarios I can think of. Here's a thought. How bout you ask him? If he deflects, don't let him. Redirect it back and ask again. Then ask him why he keeps avoiding the topic. It's probably better you get at it like a dog with a bone, otherwise he'll probably never tell you, and really, this is bad news. It's not something to build a relationship on. Seriously.

Your grammar is pretty bad in that last comment. I'm not entirely sure what you meant to type. I think I got the general idea of it, but I'm not sure.

But yes, if he keeps that up, your relationship will indeed be in trouble.

maybe he is not ready to tell his parents yet? maybe he has family issues? my girlfriend has such problems but after she told me what the problem was, I understood her pain and didn't try to force it further.

yup, as your relationship with him gets closer, he will one day tell you his family problems, just like my girlfriend does to me, just be supportive for now, till he is ready to tell you everything.

There is obviously something else going on. I had a boyfriend for 8 months, he took me to meet his parents very quickly and I ended up seeing them regularly. But unfortunately I couldn't do the same for him and never introduced him to my family because there were just too many problems at the time. My father had run away, my mother was extremely ill, my brother and sister were looking after her and there was absolutely no money. I couldn't bring myself to bring him into this mess and I was very worried he may judge us, because his family seemed so perfect. My boyfriend hinted often, so I just told him I was sorry it had nothing to do with him and that things were very difficult at home. He has had you over his house though, so he can't be too worried, maybe he is worried they will say something silly to you or something. He does sound a bit embarrassed. Just ask him gently I would.

I doubt it has anything to do with you though.

I will ask him because when he's around me out of his house his happy but when he's at home he gets bothered and seems like he feels really uncomftarble
