I don’t think girls get friend zoned. This may be a little insensitive sounding but it comes from a honest place. The only way we say such a thing to a girl, is we’re just not attracted to her. This means you have to process that:


is there something you can do to change that? Maybe or maybe not. If he’s into short Asian girls and you’re a tall blonde, it may be a tough sell. If, however, he’s into outdoor girls and your kind of a soft “indoor” girl maybe you can use that to your advantage. Mayne
You dress very trendy and think it’s cool but he like the retro, or athletic, or whatever look. Maybe he likes a certain style to his girls.


This is no different than how some girls who like a man with beard and others don’t like facial hair. Some women love a man in a suit and others prefer the leather jacket of a biker or rocker yet some others again want a man in board shorts and long surfer hair. Figure out his preference and see if it helps.


Most importantly though, it’s okay to change and grow into new styles and interests but just don’t sell out who you are in your core for anybody. If you do it may lead to short term success but it’s almost guaranteed to end in long term failure.


In the end not everyone we meet that we like will be into us. This is an unavoidable reality of life. Just be the best “you” you can be and the right man will come along at the right time.

I suppose it’s possible but I think the female understanding of the friendzone is different. Typically a man who gets friendzoned is attracted to a girl, usually a pretty one, and settles for being friends OR is too chicken to do anything except hang around in her shadow, doing anything she wants to try and endear himself to her.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of an attractive woman liking a guy (that she’s equally attracted to) and being cast into the purgatory of “we’re just friends”. Doesn’t mean it’s not possible, but it’s just not probable.
