Why do guys find it SO hard to be loyal?

...or at least it seems like they do. A girl can completely switch off that switch...but a guy seems to always have a roving eye..no matter how much he loves you. Why?

Well I don't mean to argue with you, but girls are not so perfect that they can just switch off something like that, at least not all of them. I know from experience.

The difference between guys cheating and women cheating is that the guys usually get caught honestly. Not all guys are like that though. Some might make the excuse that they were driven to it by the woman they are with, but in the end it's all bullsh*t. It's the same way with women.

There's not really a cut-and-dry answer to this. Some men and women cheat because they feel they NEED the sex, and will go to any lengths to get it. Some might say that their significant other isn't paying attention to them anymore, so they find the love and attention and affection elsewhere. Some just can't help themselves and have no business in a relationship in the first place.

It's not hard for me to be loyal at all. I've always had the outlook that if I'm not happy in the relationship and we can't talk and work it out, then I won't stay in it. If I'm with someone I truly care about I would rather break my own arm than hurt her that way, or any purposeful way.

I think you are mistaking loyalty with looking. It is almost physically impossible for men to focus on a woman the way that a woman can focus on a man, not because they are disloyal perverts, but because their eyes and brains work differently.

Men's brains have been hardwired to pick up on motion and action, whereas women's brains have been hardwired to see details like color and shape over a broader range of vision. That is because during prehistoric times, men hunted and women gathered wild growing food. It is literally encoded into our DNA.

That is why women have better peripheral vision, so when his eyes dart away from you for a second and look at the waitress that passed by, it isn't because he made a conscious decision to look at her instead of you, the animal part of his brain simply executed an ancient response to movement.

In comparison, women can see every waiter that passes by, without giving any indication that they are doing so. At least men are upfront about their wandering gaze.

there's looking and there's checking out. I mean if jessica alba walks by 9/10 guys are gonna look. if brad pitt walked down the street and you were with your boyfriend you wouldn't look? some can fight it and some cant. if he takes a quick glance but goes on about his business its no big deal, its human nature for guys and girls. but if it happens way too much and its longer than a glance then yes, you do have a reason to get upset. the more he loves u, the easier it is to fight temptation. if its an everyday thing then obviously you two have something to talk about

You may can "switch off that switch"...but most women don't. And many, MANY women have a roving eye, so your not exempt either. Any answerer will tell you that.

You must give loyalty to get loyalty.
