Guys: How do you feel after being dumped?

I dated someone, casually. I didn't see us go anywhere, mixed signals on his side and in the end I'm not sure myself anymore. I told him I'd love to stay friends because I sincerely care about him. I tried my best to prove I'm genuine and not avoiding to tell the truth - he completely cut me off, why? It makes me feel as though he never was that into me as he clearly doesn't care to stay friends.

We feel like crap. We want to call and clear up any misconceptions, but then we would seem over-obsessive/weak/creepy. So we suck it up and go on with life without you. The best way to look at is it's her loss.

You really have to understand why being friends doesn't work after being in a relationship. Nothing that you do as a friend can come close to making him as happy as when you were together.

It can really get to me if I think about it too much, usually I try to move on as soon as possible. Basically I think it's better since crying over things never got me anywhere and expecting someone who just dumped me to take me back right away is unrealistic. So I usually use the time to find someone new. Might seem very cynical, but what am I supposed to do? Be upset for months on end?

Bloop bloop, blah blah. Can you even hear what you're saying? YOU dumped HIM! And you can never make it better by trying to be "friends." Men are territorial, and he just lost a part of what identifies that. Don't expect a "Hey, how's everything," or "Hope everything is going good" EVER because when woman dumps a dude she needs to walk away... far away.

idk I "got dumped" once I was younger then and felt suicidal, but if I were to get dumped nowadays id be cool, and leave

It's totally legitimate to deny the freindship offer as the dumpee - I just don't get why he wouldn't even talk to me anymore. I've texted him couple times to check on him, he totally ignores me
