So i had the chance to know a girl and we became a best friends and we talk all day long and some times flirting each other, she is 19 and i am 18 and we Both agree that we need to continue our education, I started to like her and I told her that i like her and i can see us together in the future.. in the beginning shy said I know that will happen with us its a beautiful thing and who knows we may be together in the future, after her message I just got very excited and happy but I started to ask her few questions and she said I’m really confused and I look at you as a friend but in the same time i am confused i can’t say we will be together it’s just a possibility and I don’t know I need to work about my self and get ready for these kind of relationships but i can't promise u and we may just stay Best friends I just maybe can't change my view about u ur my best friend and what you think about delay this topic to the next years.
She told me that she want me to stay with her and she doesn’t want us to be unfriends.
I’m really confused right now dose she likes me and she is shy or what? She told me she is not ready for a relationship and I understand that, but what do i have to do? Keep hoping or just forget the idea?
I have a feeling that she is just not ready but at the same time she likes me.
What should i do now? And what does she means?

She may be afraid of losing her bestfriend if you get into a relationship and it doesn't work out. Both of you are young and for her maybe the last thing she wants is the pressure of deciding if you are the one she wants to have a full relationship forever. She obviously knows she wants your friendship forever but that's it. I would say don't pressure her in deciding forever. If you are ready for a more committed relationship and she's not ready to give it or doesn't even know she can, I would not close the door to others that come along. She very well could like someone else as well which might be confusing her. Ask her does she think you should date others.

Normally, I'd say that she is just letting you down easy. But the way you describe it, she genuinely sounds confused about her emotions & the future. I'd give her some time to think but don't hold out for years or anything. Even if she's genuine, you can't let her unintentionally lead you on forever.

Clearly she thinks she's young & she can do better than you. She'll keep you on the hook by saying I'm confused I'm not sure (basically she's analysing your worth) untill she has a better option
