How can I get my Girlfriend to go barefoot in public?

I've hidden her shoes and given her a time period in which to find them, I've wrestled and pinned her down to take them off just before leaving the house, I have even put all of them in the trunk of our car and only letting her pick out a pair after we get to our destination.

We are used to wearing footwear. Our soles are easily hurt by small objects if going barefoot. Safer to wear something on your feet. And many doctors will point that out.
