When should I tell him that I am jealous?

My boyfriend has a close female friend that he talks to daily. He probably texts her more often than he texts me. I have raised my concern with them being too close on a few occasions. But he has told me that he does and would not have any feelings for her, and that he only talks to her because she has mild depression. She has previously asked him 'will you leave me one day', and he has promised her that he would not. Even if he had a girlfriend. I find myself getting very upset with their relationship and would often wonder whether he treats her like how he would treat me at times. Why am I feeling this way? Pls help...

that whole "mild depression" bullshit sounds like an excuse just to keep talking to her. and her asking him "would you leave me one day" she 100% into him.. i have a guy best friend too and i got depression, he has a girlfriend now and doesn't talk to me as much anymore but im not gonna make him talk to me everyday or whatever. a few check ups once a week or even a month is fine as long as were still friends because i get that he has a girlfriend. he being selfish and u should speak up

even i told talk to my little sister every single moment lol, friends dont need to communicate and be together 24/7 thats what having a bf/gf is for. he can still talk to her but probably less frequent and more once in a while. his friend gotta find a man whos single that she can cling to for her dEpreSSion
