It's like a sharp turn... With the ailerons and elevator you put the plane into a a slight bank and then keep it until it gets to the angle you want... Well simultaneously going either nose up or nose down... Nose down with increase your speed and make it turned much faster... You have to reverse the controls to get it back to normal level flight...
