What conversation platform do you prefer the most when talking to a partner?

Depends on the circumstances... For example when I am at work and can't pick up the phone it is more convenient if he texts me and I can respond when I find a spare moment. Also less noisy than having the phone ringing or vibrating in my pocket

If there is time and both of us can talk a phone call is definitely better and if I am alone or somewhere I feel free to talk video call.

Then it also depends on what we have to say. I don't tend to discuss serious stuff over text messages. I need to hear his voice in those cases. If it is something like "can you bring milk when you come over?" I will send him a text that will also serve as a reminder for him...

In any case I wouldn't prefer social media to talk to my partner.

Talking on the phone, you can't hide your voice. Too much miscommunication occur via unspoken conversation you can't tell if something is a joke, truth, sarcasm. With Text and Messenging you also can't tell what is really going on "They say their fine but are they really?" Talking on the phone you xan listen to their voice how they are speaking tone of things... Now in person is the best of all because now you have Body Language to understand as well.

I prefer phone and talking. More intimate and more stand out than texting. Only text if I can't call at the moment. Although it seems most women I try to call after getting their number don't answer or bother phoning back after leaving a message. Pretty rude.

Last girl I was talking to and I would always call via snapchat when we were free.

I mainly text and video call from Skype and FB messenger.
When I'm not around home, I may text if I need something.
And when I need something urgent and straight-to-the-point, I will call on the phone.

But I never "talk on the phone", I hate "talk on the phone" people.

Either with an"actual" phone call or "real" in person interaction. Text/Skype just isn't real communication to me. 🤷

That is the best platforrm because that one allows for the least hiding of the truth.

It is much more difficult to hide facial expressions coupled with real time emotions when having a live conversation than with any other platform where people basically are given the option to hide a number of facts that would be so much more difficult to hide when talking face to face.

he's also really bad at texting so if we called i'd get more out of the conversation
texting is better for me because i usually forget what i say in conversations so if i wanted i could always get a recap.
but phone calls feel more real and i get more of a connection with the person.

Oh once upon a time there was a guy told me he likes to open up about his situation as were like friends for so long and he doesn't want to talk about it on the phone so I said over the phone why not he said he wanted to reveal it in eye to eye I was like yeah right that's sounds like bulls eye to me not eye to eye he just laughed , well I think doesn't really matters what you used as long as the message is within reach 🤫

Texting cause it's easier and quicker and if we're dating, I'll. like to chat with them A LOT. I also like calling and meeting the other person regularly because it's more intimate to me.

I prefer talking to someone in person, it's just awkward most of the time when I speak to someone on the phone or on a video call so when I can't talk to someone in person, I'd much rather prefer to text. The only person who I would rather speak to through a phone call or video call rather than text is my best friend, it's much easier and natural for me to talk to her compared to other people and so she's the only one I'd rather call than text.

I never talk on the phone privately. I only make phone calls when it's about business. Hate it with all my heart. I text 98% of the time. Video calls only on Skype for job interviews. I use WhatsApp only. For my online friends I never met I use discord and snap, rarely Instagram.
