Do not call me. 🤣 I will “miss” it.
Do not text me. I will reply in 3-5 business days.
FaceTime me but you’re FaceTiming yourself coz I ain’t showing you my business 🤣. I will watch you talk to me while I do my thing.
I usually mute my notifications coz I don’t like a busy looking phone. I’ll get to you when I get to you.
Don’t ask me to add you on WhatsApp, Kik or IG, etc! I don’t care about all these apps!
So if you urgently need me, don’t use me as your emergency contacts 😑 unless your my parents or if I’m married/in a relationship to/with you or birthed you! Priorities!

I live with my partner and she'll literally text me from upstairs when it's quicker to just shout. Regards us. Unless it's ultra important we text. Or one of us is on a lunch break and the other is at home, then we'll call.

My phone has all sorts of Apps and gadgets and stuff I never use. I am not at all big on answering the phone, even if it's my Mom or a friend. Chances are I won't answer or even respond for a few days, week. If it's important they'll leave a voice message/text.

Private/unknown numbers never get answered.

I really genuinely don't want to talk to anyone at all, ever on my phone unless it's my partner or absolutely necessary. Which infuriates my bosses as they know I won't answer in personal time.

Text is the best way to contact me and even then it depends on when I can be bothered responding lol

I used to abhor texting. I never even texted until a couple years ago when I got my FIRST smart phone. Now I like it. It's very functional. They and I can both text eachother at our convenience. I'll never understand these people that get mad when they send a text and get upset when they don't get a prompt response. I don't care if you text me back a couple days later.

But that is for function. I prefer talking to someone when it's not a "functional" exchange. I mean if it's a warm conversation. I want to hear the warmth of your voice. I want you to hear mine. Emoji's can't encapsulate that.

Texting. Even when I'm seeing someone, unless it's an emergency or something serious, I prefer texting over phone calls. Why?

It allows me to think before I speak, or type rather. And process things more logically.

For those of you saying, "But I hate texting, I'm a bad texter." That's fine. Some of us are bad at verbally expressing our thoughts and feelings, so it goes both ways, depending on your communication style.

Depends on the topic. We just had a *massive* unexpected (shame on you weathermen) monsoon hit the neighborhood. Heavy winds, thunder lighting and heavy rain. It started with texts and video clips and turned into a call.

Calling, but only a couple times per week and for short periods of time, mostly to set up the next date/meeting. If she wanted to play games online together then we could talk more with headsets while playing games.

I despise having text conversations. I use text the same way most people use email. A short conveyance of information that maybe requires one or two replies. Anything beyond that, just call me. I prefer talking in person over-all though

If not in person, definitely via phone call. You can't read/interpret emotions over messages which can sometimes get misconstrued

im single and i think texting prob 60% of the time and facetiming 40%, that 40% could be calling too. this would be if we don’t live together but i think it’ll be the same if we do live together

I prefer voice notes lol. They are as easily sent as text messages, so you can send and respond to them as you please, and they are more intimate than texts

It depends on the person. If they're a real chin wagger, once every few weeks/months will suffice. I'd like to have someone to talk WITH, NOT someone that I have to listen to most of the time they're here. If it's a girlfriend, all day every day will do! If a friend I have a great time with, maybe a couple times a week/month.
